Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We've got answers. If you don't see what you're looking for, get in touch and we'll help.

For individual returns you'll typically need: W-2s from all employers, 1099 forms for other income, last year's return, Social Security numbers for your family, and receipts for deductible expenses. After your intake we provide a detailed checklist specific to your situation — and you can upload everything through our secure portal.

Fees vary with the complexity of your return. Individual returns start at $350 and business returns start at $750. You'll always get a clear estimate upfront after we review your situation — no surprises.

Most individual returns are completed within 3–5 business days once we have all your documents. Business returns typically take 1–2 weeks. During peak season (March–April) timelines may be slightly longer, and we'll always give you a specific estimate for your return.

Yes — IRS representation is one of our specialties. If you receive a notice or audit letter, contact us right away. We'll review it, explain it in plain English, communicate with the IRS on your behalf, and guide you through the process. Audit support is included for returns we prepare.

Absolutely. We e-file all eligible returns, which is faster and more secure than paper filing. With direct deposit you'll typically receive your refund within 2–3 weeks. You can also share documents securely through our client portal.

We're here for you year-round. While tax prep is busiest January through April, we provide bookkeeping, tax planning, and consultation throughout the year. Proactive planning before year-end can significantly reduce your tax burden.

You work directly with an experienced CPA, not a seasonal preparer or a call center. We focus on long-term relationships and understanding your complete financial picture, combining technical expertise with genuine personal attention — and we're available when you need us.
